A Journey around my Room: The living room as space of flows and friction

Considering spaces of mobility the living room is probably not the first thing that comes to mind, but it is an interesting space where daily life with all its actions and movements takes place. The everyday routine allows us to navigate in our houses or rooms without thinking about it. This flow of ordinary habits and procedures just stops when we misplace our keys or trip over a toy which our child has viciously placed in our way. But normally we would find our way in the dark to the kitchen or cautiously avoid this particular squeaking step. It seems that we can be ourselves at home without any exterior control or regulation.
