Technical Workshop - Wednesday morning

Will provide an overview of the technical aspects of the PKP software suite. Aimed at software developers.
CLA Open Access Pre-Conference Meeting - Wednesday morning
The Canadian Library Association warmly invites you to join members of the CLA Task Force on Open Access, the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), and the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) for a presentation and discussion on transitioning to open access.
Plugin Workshop - Wednesday afternoon
This free, hands on session requires a high level of technical experience. Participants will learn how to create their own software plugins. Aimed at experienced software developers. If possible, participants should bring their own laptops with a local installation of OJS.
OJS in an Afternoon Workshop - Wednesday afternoon
This Workshop is now FULL.
This session will provide an overview of the editorial workflow of the OJS journal management system, and provide tips for customizing a standard OJS journal. Aimed at new journal managers, editors, librarians, and others.
Workshop spaces are limited, so please register early if you are interested in attending.
Day 2 - Thursday, July 12, 2007
Main conference will commence with a plenary session focussing on one or more of the major themes, e.g. open access, new and emerging scholarly publishing models. Evening will have various dinner and social activities.
Day 3 - Friday, July 13, 2007
Main conference concludes at noon with provision for informal follow-up and/or special interest sessions in afternoon.
