About the conference
Cumulus 38º South was the first Cumulus Conference to be held in Australia, and ran from 12-14 November 2009. Cumulus, the International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media represents more than 140 institutions worldwide. It was designed to be a global forum where the northern and southern hemispheres could share their cultural expression of design and related media across education, industry and research. It was also an opportunity to build the Cumulus network across Asia, Australia and within Victoria.
The conference was kindly sponsored by the Cumulus International Association, Swinburne University of Technology and RMIT University.
