Registration

Registration for Access 2003 has closed. 208 people have registered, making this conference the biggest Access ever.

The Registration Desk (located outside the Plaza Ballroom) will be open Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., and Friday, Oct. 3 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

The Access conference room rates are as follows:

$159 single or double
$184 triple
$209 quadruple

Additional persons are $25 each using existing bedding. Room rates quoted above do not include provincial and federal sales taxes.

Travel

If you are booking a flight to Vancouver, you may find it useful to know that there will be an evening reception at the Hyatt on October 1. People planning to participate in the Hackfest should arrive the night of September 30. The conference sessions end by 1 p.m. on October 4.

Transit options from the Richmond airport to the Hyatt in downtown Vancouver include:

Taxi: approximate cost from the airport to downtown is $30.00

Airporter bus: The Hyatt is located conveniently on the Vancouver Airporter bus route.

City bus: take the number 424 from the airport to Airport Station, then transfer to 98-B to Burrard station. Total time for this option is approximately 1 hour. More city bus information is available at BC Translink
